According to reports, a teacher working for the Ghana Education Service (GES) lost a 40,000 Ghana Cedi bank loan in just 17 seconds while playing the well-known Aviator game. The player of the game, which can be found on the MSport platform, controls a pilot through a series of more difficult challenges as they soar higher, with the potential to earn or lose substantial sums of money.
The instructor had gotten a loan to pay for his mother's medical needs, according to Kofi Ofosu Nkansah, CEO of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme, who posted the tale on his Facebook page. The instructor had intended to make 5,000ghc in a matter of seconds after hearing about the Aviator game from a friend who suggested it as a quick method to get money.
The teacher put 20,000ghc into the game in an attempt to win big and extract a sizable sum immediately. He quickly lost all of it, though, and made the decision to make up for his losses. He kept playing despite the intense pressure and ultimately lost the final 20,000ghc as well.
The tragic tale of the teacher serves as a warning about the perils of gambling and the consequences of pursuing hasty financial rewards. The burden of his mother's medical bills and burial expenditures has now fallen hard upon him, and the 40,000ghc loan is lost forever. It serves as a strong warning to always use caution while gaming and to get treatment if addiction problems arise. Read the entire article
